Church Girls, Inc., is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to empowering women from all backgrounds, helping them to achieve their full potential. We believe in creating opportunities for women to thrive and succeed. Inspired by the story of Ruth & Naomi, we are committed to spreading the love of Jesus Christ through building a sisterhood that motivates, inspires, challenges, & empowers women and girls worldwide.

Our Founder
Dr. LaVeisha Mobley Cummings, DCC, M.Ed
Dr. LaVeisha Mobley Cummings (Dr. L) has an extensive background in the non-profit sector. For over two decades, Dr. L has held roles that serve the community and connect at-risk families to educational, economic, and developmental opportunities. As a proud mother of three, Dr. L envisions a future where every woman has access to the resources and support she needs to succeed.
Dr. L is a powerful motivational speaker. She has served as commencement & keynote speaker for Job Corps Centers, and various ministries throughout the US. She is a licensed evangelist, published author & playwright. A graduate of Albany State University (Speech & Theatre), Troy University (MEd counseling & psychology) and she received her doctorate degree in Christian counseling from Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Dr. L is also a life coach and is no stranger to church. As a pastor's wife, she utilizes this platform and her expertise in the non-profit sector to spread the love of Jesus Christ & connect women to viable resources that extend beyond the pulpit & walls of the church.
She lives by the motto: "don't worry about the crow, be like the eagle. Spread your wings and soar to higher heights. Just remember to breathe." Dr. L resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband and their three children.
